The most important check is the link between person, size, printed name and number. A list that is correct field by field can still produce errors if the rows are matched wrongly.
What to consider
Keep the registered name separate from the lettering wanted on the kit, especially when nicknames or abbreviations are used. Don’t automatically change capitals, accents or apostrophes without a shared decision. Also check duplicate numbers: they may be intentional for different groups, but they must be recognisable, not hidden in the same list.
How to prepare your project
Gather the choices in a single up-to-date list. Ask each recipient to check their own line and make sure the number of lines per size doesn’t exceed the pieces ordered. Finally compare the list with the draft revision: a file changed after approval must be flagged, not silently replaced.
