The short answer
Minimal graphics work when the little information present is chosen precisely. Reducing the elements doesn’t mean leaving the project incomplete: you still need a hierarchy between group, partners and lettering.
What to consider
Decide which elements are mandatory and which optional. A single sponsor can have different proportions and positions without having to fill the whole available surface. Also consider what will be covered by a bib or accessories in actual use. Empty spaces should be a choice, not the result of missing notes.
How to prepare your project
Send a short brief with palette, main logo and desired position. If you want to remove the Dominguez logo, turn on the dedicated option and check its surcharge; don’t confuse it with the absence of other brands. In the draft, check alignments, margins and contrast above all, because in a minimal layout every detail stands out more.
Before continuing
- Essential elements selected
- Margins and alignments checked
- Brand removal explicitly requested
Does minimal necessarily mean single-colour?
No. You can use several colours while keeping few elements and a tidy layout.
