The short answer
Even a small supply deserves a complete project: model, variant, sizes, numbers and any sponsors. A small number of athletes doesn’t remove the risk of mixing up individual details.
What to consider
First decide whether everyone should get the same kit or whether extra spares are needed. For an event, check the specific rules and the date by which you need the garments. Don’t confuse the possibility of starting from one piece with a promise of immediate production or the same price as a larger supply.
How to prepare your project
Gather the few necessary details in a single list and check each line yourself. Select the plain or made-to-measure route and state clearly any shared graphic elements. Before confirming, check total, VAT, shipping and deadline. Keep the project for when a new teammate joins.
